Why should you move to Waterfront Pointe?  

   Waterfront Pointe is a 3-building, 91-unit condominium complex, located on a park with a lake, half a block from the Mill Woods Transit Centre and the future Mill Woods LRT stop, as well as doctors’ and dentists’ offices, a bank and a medi-centre.  We are a block and a half from the Mill Woods Town Centre mall, with a Co-Op Food Store, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug Mart and countless other stores.  The Grey Nuns Hospital is three blocks away.  The new Mill Woods Library, Seniors and Multicultural Centre is two blocks away. The library is 25,000 square feet, while the Seniors Centre and Multicultural Centre is located on the second floor of the library branch.

Location  

   We are situated in a position in South-East Edmonton to access the rest of the city easily and quickly.  By car we’re a 10-minute drive from the Whitemud Drive and the Millwoods Golf Course, as well as a 4-minute drive for access to the Anthony Henday Drive. Our three condominium buildings overlook a large park with a man-made lake.  The lake is home to all kinds of wildlife such as geese and ducks and their families.  In the park there are benches and picnic tables where you can sit and watch the ducks and the people go by, or just generally relax and socialize.

Self-Managed   

    Because we are a self-managed condominium, volunteer unit owners do many jobs around the complex.  We have a volunteer Maintenance Committee headed by a board member and therefore any crises are attended to immediately.  Unit owners know who to call on the Maintenance Committee when they have a problem in their unit.  Bills are paid immediately and we always know the state of our finances.  If you enjoy socializing, we have a very active Social Committee with a great number of social events planned.  As owners, we all have a great amount of interest and pride in maintaining our home in the best possible manner.  Visitors are always impressed with the interior and exterior appearance of our complex.

Description  

    Waterfront Pointe is a 4-story low-rise complex with elevators in each building.  We have an age restriction of 18+ and small pets are allowed after board approval.  There is an amenities room that is available for rent to unit owners for parties.  Each unit has a balcony/patio with a barbeque gas hook-up from the interior gas fireplace.  We have a heated underground parkade with a workshop and a car wash, as well as a surface parking lot and on-street parking for visitors.

Award  

    Waterfront Pointe was honoured to be selected as one of the finalists for the CODE (Condominiums of Distinction and Excellence) Award given out by the Canadian Condominium Institute, Edmonton Chapter.  We finished as runner-up.
